Expected results

  • Creating the structure for the online repository
  • Creating the structure for the VR STEAM lab
  • Creating the project online repository
  • Creating the VR STEAM lab

Expected impact:

The Intellectual Output 5 (IO5) aims at developing a virtual STEAM laboratory and online repository for teaching material content (IO2-IO4, IO6). The material content will be collected and assembled following the main goals of the project which are to educate pre-service and in-service teachers to improve their ability to use advantages of technologies for their STEAM-related teaching areas. It will also help them to increase digital competencies, in general, helping them to use modern teaching methods to real classroom environments whenever appropriate or advisable. IO5 aims at providing the target group (pre-service and in-service teachers in all education levels for STEAM-related topics or other users that might potentially need training in digital skills) with a tool to be able to search for and investigate information about digital tools. University lecturers, teacher students, teachers, teacher educators, parents, students, and others can all be considered as further potential users of the project results. A virtual STEAM lab will be part of the platform helping in-training and in-service teachers to easier understand emerging technologies such as 3D printing, as well as will allow them to create their own virtual resources to share.
