Co-creation program for educational technological innovation
In the spring of 2021, the second flight started in the co-creation program, the aim of which is to create high-quality digital solutions for Estonian education and to avoid a situation in the future where our students can learn only with the help of foreign and foreign language applications.
The program is coordinated by Tallinn University in cooperation with Startup Estonia, EdTech Estonia and the Education and Youth Board. During the program, companies meet regularly with schools, involving learners in development. Education and Youth Board supports participating educational institutions, Startup Estonia and EdTech Estonian start-ups, and Tallinn University provides methodological and didactic support to the parties and supports evidence-based support in the co-creation process. Each team is supported by a university mentor who helps the teams speed up the process of creating their service.
Co-creation in education is based on the KYKY Living Lab model developed in Finland and implemented in Espoo, and the EDUCATE program developed by the University College London (UCL) in England. The co-creation program is implemented by the Ministry of Education and Research and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications.
