In particular, online education presents <strong>limitations<\/strong> and <strong>opportunities<\/strong> that can be recognised, mitigated, built upon, and used to take advantage of their positive aspects in view of present and future needs.<\/p>\n<p>The ENLIVEN Erasmus project focused on extending learning and teaching to international virtual learning environments. The consortium consisted of researchers from the Universities of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plus.ac.at\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Saltzburg<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unl.pt\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lisbon<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uns.ac.rs\/index.php\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Novi Sad<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/index.php\/english\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pisa,<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni-hamburg.de\/en.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hamburg<\/a> ja <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tlu.ee\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tallinn.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\t<p>Tallinn University, being one of the six consortium universities across Europe, committed to <strong>improve<\/strong> and <strong>enrich<\/strong> existing distance learning practices.<\/p>\n<p>Building on the experiences of e-learning during the first phase of COVID pandemic, the project&#8217;s mission was to create new stimulating experiences for all the actors involved, incrementing the levels of <strong>participation<\/strong> and <strong>inclusion<\/strong> in virtual classrooms, thus making virtual mobility closer to physical mobility. By creating an <strong>enhanced virtual international learning environment,<\/strong> we deepened the collaboration with European partners.<\/p>\n\n\t<p>The objective of <strong>INTELLECTUAL OUTPUT 1<\/strong>\u00a0is to enhance the digital competences and skills of all university community components and to easily access and exploit the potentiality of the platforms and tools used in digital learning.<\/p>\n<p>To achieve this objectives, multiple activities are planned in order to <strong>develop<\/strong>, <strong>pilot<\/strong>, <strong>test<\/strong>, <strong>implement\u00a0<\/strong>and <strong>perfect learning-teaching materials<\/strong> and <strong>formulate <\/strong>guidelines for short flexible and progressive learning.<\/p>\n<p>The activities involve developing a set of course modules and fully implementing them across the partner universities.<\/p>\n\n\t<p>As part of this, a <strong>Survival Kit<\/strong> has been developed to provide support for the use of basic digital methods and tools to meet the needs of today&#8217;s learning and teaching.<\/p>\n<p>It consists of a <strong>set of micromodules<\/strong> containing <strong>videos<\/strong>, <strong>tutorials<\/strong> and <strong>best practices<\/strong> for users who need a quick introduction to some of the most common learning and teaching tools and methods. Thanks to the survival kit, you should be able to solve some of the most common problems with presence and distance learning platforms.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"http:\/\/www.enlivenproject.eu\/survival-kit\/competences\/need_competence.html#1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\tcheck out the Survival Kit\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t<p><strong>INTELLECTUAL OUTPUT 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The partner universities will develop two <strong>e-courses<\/strong>, one for lecturers and one for students, in order to <strong>empower e-teaching and e-learning<\/strong>. The aim of <strong>Intellectual Output 2<\/strong> is to <strong>develop<\/strong>, <strong>pilot<\/strong>, <strong>test<\/strong>, <strong>implement<\/strong> and formulate <strong>guidelines<\/strong> for improved <strong>learning<\/strong>, <strong>teaching<\/strong>, and <strong>assessment approaches\u00a0<\/strong>suitable for the digital environment, engaging and serving both teachers and learners.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to these results, teachers will learn how to create and manage an <strong>inclusive<\/strong> <strong>classroom<\/strong> or seminar while learners will learn how to<strong> interact effectively<\/strong> in a virtual environment. By making the learning process more <strong>flexible<\/strong>, and classes more <strong>inclusive<\/strong>, the diversity within the classroom can be increased. Once fully implemented, the e-courses will be fully <strong>certifiable<\/strong> among the partner universities with credits awarded for the achieved learning outcomes. Finally, the courses will be publicly available so everyone can use them.<\/p>\n\t<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The process leading to the development of the two e-courses will include the following activities: partners will be <strong>sharing approaches and practices<\/strong> by contributing the materials, evaluations and insights already developed in the emergency situation; through a method of<strong> co-creation<\/strong>, the structure of the sets of e-modules will be developed and <strong>fine-tuned<\/strong>; the picture of the existing experiences and practices will be supplemented with <strong>desk research<\/strong> on solutions from outside the partnership;
